Tyler Smith is an entrepreneur, visionary, and faith-focused leader whose life is a powerful testament to resilience and transformation. After overcoming immense challenges—including addiction, homelessness, and incarceration—Tyler chose a new path built on healing, health, and faith.

Tyler’s work is rooted in faith, compassion, and transformation. She founded Misfits Mission, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting formerly incarcerated women as they rebuild their lives through community, mentorship, and empowerment  She has also founded The Hiding Place,  which provides women coming out of incarceration with a safe, Christ-centered space to rebuild their lives. Her holistic approach addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration—offering mentorship, life skills, health and fitness training, and inner healing. Tyler’s vision goes beyond recovery; she equips women to embrace their God-given identity and step into lasting freedom, creating ripple effects of hope and generational change.

Her future plans include launching Grace & Grit, a gym that will serve as both a fitness space and a safe haven for personal growth. Guided by her unwavering belief in second chances, Tyler continues to inspire others to rise above adversity and embrace the power of renewal.
